About the position

Do you want an active job where you are outdoors and at the same time make a difference for traffic safety? As a parking attendant, you play an important role in creating order, safety, and a positive experience in the urban environment.

Your role includes checking and reporting incorrectly parked vehicles and informing about upcoming changes in the traffic environment. The work is varied and mobile outdoors year-round, which suits you who enjoy being active and on the move for most of the day. You work together with colleagues, which makes teamwork and camaraderie important qualities. We offer a work environment where we support each other and value different perspectives.

The positions are flexible between centrally located site offices in Stockholm. The positions are permanent employment (we apply a 6-month probationary period) full-time. The work may include both patrolling parking assignments and assignments that are vehicle-based. The position is mainly scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, but you will sometimes also work early morning shifts, evenings, and weekends.

Enjoys an active job and has good endurance, is social and communicative with a respectful approach, and can act calmly and professionally in various situations. You have a sense of service, are cooperative, and contribute to a positive work environment with your colleagues. We prefer that you have life experience and are confident in yourself.

Requirements for applicants

In addition to personal qualities, you need to meet the following basic requirements:

• That you can complete a 4-week basic training for public law parking attendants starting at the end of January 2026.*
• High school education with passing grades in Swedish and English.
• Good Swedish in speech and writing.
• Good health and physical condition.
• Driver's license B.

In addition, you need to be without a criminal record**, drug-free, have organized finances, and good health and physical condition to be employed by Avarn Security.

*As a final step in the recruitment process, Avarn Security offers and covers the cost of a place in a basic training for public law parking attendants. No salary is paid during the 4 weeks that the training takes place. Completion and approval of the basic training with 100% attendance is a prerequisite for employment.

**All personnel at an authorized security company must be approved in a review regarding legal compliance, civic reliability, and suitability in other respects. For the approval authority's review of a person's legal compliance and civic reliability, information found in the criminal record or suspicion register or processed by the Security Police under the law on the police's processing of personal data within the crime data law area will be obtained.
